The Graduate Business consulting projects are
the culminating experience for most Graduate Students in the College
of Business Administration. Before a student can graduate with a
Masters Degree, he/she must demonstrate a mastery of the skills
and theories taught throughout the program.
Teams of 3-4 graduating Graduate Business students
are matched with projects based on their background and interest
relating to industry and project types. Each team of students spends
between 500-600 hours on the project. An ideal project would encompass
areas like writing a business plan, preparing a feasibility study,
doing marketing research, writing a marketing plan, preparing a
production plan, doing financial analysis, assessing outcomes and
making recommendations, etc. Participating companies receive both
a written report and an oral presentation responding to the chosen
study topic.
