The Aztec Business Alliance offers upper division

in all areas of Business: Accounting, Finance, Financial Services,
Human Resources Management, Information Systems, Management, Marketing,
and Real Estate.
To be eligible to participate as an undergraduate, students must
be in their Junior or Senior year within the majors offered by the
College of Business.
With the exception of students planning to receive course credit
for an internship, an internship can be obtained anytime throughout
the semester.
For information on how to receive credit for an undergraduate internship,
please visit the MGT401
web site. Please note that you will need to verify with your
professor that the internship project meets all requirements for
the course credit.
To register for internships through the Aztec Business Alliance
Internship Bureau, either register on
line or download and fill out the registration form and email
it with a copy of your resume to Angelica
Bouras.
The Internship Bureau offers two types of internships:
Sponsored Internships
– Students work for 120 hours receiving $1,000*
(undergraduate) and $1,400*
(graduate) at the end of the internship paid via SDSU Research Foundation.
These hours can be completed as soon or as long as your schedule
allows. Working hours are determined between the company and the
student. All students are insured through the SDSU Research Foundation.
International Students are eligible to receive the stipend through
our program and are encouraged to apply. To apply for these internships
please contact Angelica Bouras.
*These rates are affective beginning March 9, 2007. Some
sponsored internships will continue at $800 (undergraduate) and
$1,200 (graduate) until removed.
Direct Internships – These internships
are processed directly by the company and can be paid or unpaid.
Some of these internships are for credit only (MGT 401). To apply
for any of these internships students must contact the company directly
(contact information included on the job description).
The Aztec Business Alliance is a self-supporting activity of
the College of Business at SDSU. Funds generated are used
for faculty advising, computer support and other operating costs.
Extraordinary project costs, such as printing and mailing are billed
at cost to the client.
